The file contains letters from members of the society (folios 2, 3, 13, 14-15) and minutes of the meeting of the Department of the society "Ruska Besida" which concern the conflicting behavior of a member of the society Yevhen Barvinsky (folios 5, 16-17) and the decision to exclude him from the membership of the society (folios 6-11 rev.). The file contains the oval seal of the library of the Shevchenko Scientific Society (folios 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 12, 13, 16, 18, 19). Incorrect title of the archival file.

Condition of original material: Manuscript. The text is written in black ink and pencil (gray). Separate notes, underlining, markings, and crossings are made in red pencil and black ink. There is an envelope in the file. The sheets have turned yellow, are covered with yellow spots and purple ink spots. The sheets are pasted with white paper on the left side. Some of the sheets are pasted with transparent paper: the top and bottom of the sheet.
