The text mentions listening to the recitation of the Patimokkha of monks. The Buddha allowed four monks to recite the Patimokkha. If there are 2 or 3 monks, give each other pure devotion, that is, show mutual purity. If there is only one monk to perform athithana Uposatha, it is praying that it is Uposatha Day. If the monk did not pray, he must abide by the offence of Dukkata. Colophon: Folio 26 on the recto side: Sangkatrasa 200 and 1 (corresponding with CS 1201), a kat khai year, on the twelfth day of the waxing moon of the eighth lunar month, the second day of the week (Monday), a moeng pao day, the writing of this manuscript was accomplished at the time of thae kai thiang van (between 9.00–10.30 o’clock). Hua Chao Nya had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Vinaya, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May we reach the three states of happiness with Nirvanaa as the ultimate goal. Nibbāna paccayo hotu dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ (May this be a condition to reach Nirvanaa, certainly).
