The text tells about practicing the ten principal virtues practiced by a Bodhisatta including 1. Dāna: giving, 2. Sīla: good conduct, 3. Nekkhamma: renunciation, 4. Paññā: wisdom, 5. Viriya: energy, 6. Khanti: forbearance, 7. Sacca: truthfulness, 8. Adhitthāna: resolution, 9. Mettā: loving-kindness, and 10. Upekkhā: equanimity. Colophon: Folio 25 on the recto side: Chunlasangkatrasa (BE) 2490, a poek si year, on the second day of the waning moon of the twelfth lunar month, a poek sanga day, Monday, the writing of this manuscript was accomplished at the time of kòng laeng (between 13.30–15.00 o’clock). The initiators, Thao (Mr) Kaeola and his wife, Sao Pong together with all their children had the most ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Sang Phet, to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna paccayo hotu no anāgate kāle (May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana in the future).
