໕໐ ຊາດ (ຜູກ ໖, ມັດ ໖)

ໃນສະໄໝໜຶ່ງພະຜູ້ມີພະພາກເຈົ້າປະທັບຢູ່ໃນວັດເຊຕະວັນ ເມືອງສາວັດຖີ ຊົງປາຣົບເຊິ່ງທານະປາຣະມີແຫ່ງຕົນແກ່ພິກຂຸທັງຫຼາຍ. ໃນກາລະອັນລ່ວງໄປແລ້ວ ມີພະຍາຕົນໜຶ່ງ ຊົງພະນາມວ່າ ພະຍາວິມຸນລະຣາດ ໄດ້ສະເຫວີຍຣາຊະສົມບັດເປັນເຈົ້າກະສັດໃນເມືອງສຸຈິຣະວະດີຣາຊະທານີ ພະອົງມີພະອັກຄະມະເຫສີ ພະນາມວ່າ ພະນາງສຸນທະຣີຣາຊະເທວີ ແລະມີພຣາຊະໂອລົດຊົງພະນາມວ່າ ເຈົ້າສຸຈິຣາຊະກຸມານ. ພະຍາວິມຸນລະຣາດ ຊົງປົກຄອງບ້ານເມືອງດ້ວຍຫລັກທົດສະພິດຣາຊະທໍາ ໑໐ ປະການ. ພະອົງໄດ້ທໍາບຸນໃຫ້ທານແກ່ຍາຈົກທັງຫລາຍເປັນປະຈໍາ. ເມື່ອເຫລົ່າຍາຈົກມາຂໍອັນໃດ ພະຍາກໍ່ສະໜອງໃຫ້ທຸກຢ່າງ. ເມື່ອພະຍາອິນສຸຣິນທາຊາບ ກໍ່ຄິດຢາກທົດລອງ ຈຶ່ງລົງມາແປງຮ່າງເປັນພາມເຖົ້າ ແລ້ວເຂົ້າໄປຂໍສົມບັດແກ່ພະຍາ ເຊິ່ງພະຍາກໍ່ມີຄວາມຊື່ນຊົມຍິນດີແລະໄດ້ມອບຊັບສົມບັດສ່ວນໜຶ່ງໃຫ້ແກ່ພາມຜູ້ນັ້ນ. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: ລານທີ ໒໖ ໜ້າ ໑: ສັງກາດ ໑໙໖ (ກົງກັບ ຈ.ສ. ໑໑໙໖) ຕົວ ປີກາບສະງ້າ ເດືອນ ໙ ຂຶ້ນ ຄໍ່າ ໑ ວັນ ໓ ມື້ກາບໃຈ້ ຣິດຈະນາແລ້ວຍາມຕູດຊ້າຍ ມີພະຣາຊະຄູເຈົ້າວັດແສນ ມີໃຈໃສສັດທາສ້າງ ໕໐ ຊາດ ໄວ້ຄໍ້າຊູສາສະໜາພະເຈົ້າ ຕາບຕໍ່ເທົ້າ ໕໐໐໐ ວັດສາ ນິບພານະ ປັດຈະໂຍ ໂຫຕຸ ໂນ ທຸວັງ ທຸວັງ.

On one occasion, the Buddha was present in the Jetavana monastery in Savatthi spoke to his disciples about the performance of his alms-giving. Once upon a time, a king named Vimulla ruling the kingdom of Siciravadi. The king had his queen named Sundari and his son named Suji. King Vinulla ruled the kingdom with the 10 virtues of a ruler. He regularly gave alms to poor peoples. When baggars came and asked for anything, the king provided everything. When Indra heard about this, he thought he wanted to try it. So he changed his form into an old Brahmin and went to the king and asked for his treasure. The king was very happy and gave a part of his treasures to the Brahmin. Colophon: Folio 26 on the recto side: Sangkat 196 (corresponding with CS 1196), a kap sanga year, on the first day of the waxing moon of the ninth lunar month, the third day of the week (Tuesday), a kap chai day, the writing of this manuscript was accomplished at the time of tut sai (between 12.00–13.30 o’clock). Phra Rasakhu Chao Vat Saen (Abbot of Vat Saen Temple) had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled 50 Sat (50 Existences), to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna paccayo hotu no dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ (May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana, certainly and certainly).
