ໃນສະໄໝພະທິປັງກອນພຸດທະເຈົ້າ ພະໂພທິສັດໄດ້ເກີດມາໃນຕະກຸນພາມຜູ້ໜຶ່ງມີຊັບສົມບັດ ໘໐ ໂກດ ຢູ່ໃນເມືອງອະມັງຄະຣະນະຄອນ ຊື່ວ່າເຈົ້າສຸເມທະກຸມມານ. ເມື່ອພໍ່ແມ່ຕາຍໄປແລ້ວ ເຈົ້າສຸເມທະກຸມມານກໍ່ໄດ້ນໍາເອົາຊັບສົມບັດທັງຫລາຍໄປແຈກຈ່າຍເປັນທານ ແລ້ວໄປບວດເປັນລືສີດາບົດ ມີຊື່ວ່າ ເຈົ້າສຸເມທະລືສີ. ທ່ານໄດ້ຈໍາເລີນເມດຕາພາວະນາຈົນໄດ້ບັນລຸຊານສະມາບັດ ໘ ປະການ ກັບທັງອະພິນຍາ ໖ ປະການ. ຕໍ່ມາເຈົ້າສຸເມທະລືສີໄດ້ຮັບການພະຍາກອນຈາກ ພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າທິປັງກອນພຸດທະເຈົ້າວ່າ “ໃນອະນາຄົດຄັ້ງໜ້າ ທ່ານຈະໄດ້ເກີດມາເປັນພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າພະນາມວ່າ ໂຄຕະມະ”. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: ລານທີ ໒໕ ໜ້າ ໑: ສັງກາດ ພັນ ໒ ຮ້ອຍ ໑໐ ( ກົງກັບ ຈ.ສ. ໑໒໑໐) ຕົວ ປີເປິກສັນ ເດືອນ ໑໐ ຈໍາເລີນ ວັນ ໕ ຍາມທ່ຽງວັນ ມື້ເຕົ່າໃຈ້ ໝາຍມີ ນາງເພັຍເມືອງຊ້າຍ ມີໃຈໃສສັດທາສ້າງ ປັນຍາປາຣະມີຫລວງ ໄວ້ກັບພະສາສະໜາພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າ ຕາບຕໍ່ເທົ້າ ໕ ພັນວັດສາ. ຂໍໃຫ້ບຸນໄປຄໍ້າລູກຜົວຜູ້ຂ້າອັນຕາຍໄປພາຍໜ້າກໍ່ຂ້າເທີ້ນ.
In the time of Dipankara Buddha, the Bodhisatta was born in the family of a Brahmin with the property of eighty koti lived in Amangala city, named Sumedha Kumara. After the death of his parent, Sumedha brought all his treasures to distribute as alms. Then he went to become a hermit named Hermit. He practiced seriously until he attained eightfold attainment and sixfold superknowlege. Later, Hermit was prophesied by the Dipankara Buddha that "in the future, you will become a Buddha named Gotama" Colophon: Folio 25 on the recto side: Sangkat one thousand 2 hundred and 10 (corresponding with CS 1210), a poek san year, on the fifth day of the week (Thursday), a tao chai day, [the writing was accomplished] at the time of thiang van (between 10.30–12.00 o’clock). Nang Phia Mueangsai had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Pannyaparami luang, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May the results of this merit support my children and husband who died.
