The content tells about the results of former deed of a pig ghost. In the time of Kassapa Buddha, there was a monk who had maintained good bodily behavior but had verbally abused the other monks. After the death, he went to hell for long. After the hell, he was born as a ghost. One day, Venerable came down from the mount of Gijjhakuta for collecting almsfood, he saw the ghost and asked it that, “Your body is like gold and has a radiant glow, but your mouth is like a pig's mouth. What kind of karma had you done? The ghost answered that, Dear Venerable Narada, in the previous life, had maintained good bodily behavior but had verbally abused others. After the death, I went to hell for long. After the hell, he was born as the ghost here. Colophons: (1) Folio 9 on the verso side: Chan (ex-monk) Suk from Luang Prabang is the scribe. (2) Folio 10 on the recto side: Nang (Mrs.) Phui from the village of Sangkhalok sponsored the making of this manuscript entitled Maha Vibak Phet (Great consequence of the ghosts), the third episode to support the Teachings of the Buddha. May the results of this merit support my parents, may two of them rejoice with this merit. May the results of this merit support […] to meet Ariya Metteyya Buddha in the future. Nibbāna is the greatest bliss.
