Once upon a time, King Angati went to listen to the preachings at the place of a naked ascetic according to the suggestion of his minister, Alatasena. The naked ascetic taught his own views to the king. The ascetic spoke in this way: “Alms giving is useless as no merit and sin, no virtue and penalty, and no hell and heaven. When Alatasena heard that, he said that, I can remember my past, the existence before I was born in the city of Varanasi but was a hunter who killed cows and buffaloes. I killed many living animals. But when I died from that existence, I was born in the wealthy family of the minister. I believe that sin has no effect, so I did not fall into hell. Later, Alatasena cursed a monk so that when Alateasena died, he immediately went to hell. The initiator, Sao Vandi had the ardent religious faith together with all her children, grandchildren and relatives to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Maha Vibak Luang (Great consequence) to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May I obtain arahantship. May this be a condition to reach Nibbāna in the future. May we all attain the noble path in the place of the future Buddha named Ariya Metteyya definitely.
