King Pokkharaphat went to visit his younger sister named Queen Sippatidevi in Kapilavatthu kingdom, who was the queen of the king of Kapilavatthu. The long trip made the king tired. When he arrived at his sister’s palace, he asked her for having meal. Unexpectedly, his sister rejected his brotherhood and dispelled him from her castle. Then the king travelled to visit his friend, King Phahupitta in Mattharat kingdom. There, the king was well received. Thereafter the king went to Tharavithi city, there he met King Rammakhosa, the ruler of the city and his queen named Sappavadi who had seven daughters. Finally, King Pokkharaphat married Princess Mathurachitta who was the youngest daughter. Colophon: Folio 23 on the recto side: Sisattabuarabat chunlasangkatrasa thousand 20037 (corresponding with CS 1237), a hap khai year, the third day of the waning moon of the fifth lunar month, the third day of the week (Tuesday), a kat hao day, the writing of this manuscript was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). Buphipattarat, the younger brother of the king who lives in the front golden palace, along with his children and relatives had the most ardent religious faith to sponsore the making of this manuscript [entitled] Lam phalasangkhanya, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May I reach the three states of happiness with Nibbāna is the ultimate goal. Amen amen! Nibbāna is the greatest bliss certainly.
