ໃນສະໄໝພະເຈົ້າກັດສະປະກໍາລັງດໍາລົງຢູ່ນັ້ນ ຍັງມີກຸນລະບຸດຄົນໜຶ່ງ ໄດ້ເຂົ້າມາຟັງພະທໍາມະເທດສະໜາ ເລື່ອງ ພະລະອານິສົງເຂົ້າສະຫຼາກ ໃນສໍານັກແຫ່ງພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າກັດສະປະ ເມື່ອໄດ້ຟັງພະທໍາມະເທດສະໜາແລ້ວກໍ່ມີໃຈຍິນດີ ມີຄວາມເຫຼື້ອມໃສ ສັດທາ ຈຶ່ງໄດ້ຖວາຍເຂົ້າສະຫຼາກແລະນໍ້ານົມງົວໃຫ້ເປັນທານແກ່ພິກຂຸທັງຫລາຍມີພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າເປັນປະທານ ດ້ວຍຜະລະບຸນກຸສົນທີ່ໄດ້ຖວາຍເຂົ້າສະຫຼາກນັ້ນ ຄັ້ນເມື່ອກຸນລະບຸດຄົນນັ້ນໄດ້ຈຸຕິຕາຍໄປກໍ່ໄດ້ເມື່ອເກີດໃນສະຫວັນເທວະໂລກ ສະເຫວີຍທິບພະສົມບັດໃນຊັ້ນຟ້າ. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: (໑) ລານທີ່ ໒໔ ໜ້າ ໑: ພຸດທະສັງກາດຣາຊະໄດ້ ໒໔໘໘ ຕົວ ປີຮັບເຮົ້າ ເດືອນ ໙ ລົງ ໑໑ ຄໍ່າ ພໍ່າວ່າໄດ້ ວັນ ໓ ຣິດຈະນາແລ້ວຍາມກອງງາຍ ໝາຍມີ ສົມເດັດພະສັງຄະຣາດ ທໍາມະຍາໂນ ທຸນທັນ ວັດໃໝ່ ພ້ອມດ້ວຍສິດໂຍມສ້າງຍັງ ມະທຸຣົດວາຫິນີ ມັດນີ້ມີ ໗ ຜູກໄວ້ຄໍ້າຊູສາສະໜາພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າ ຕາບຕໍ່ເທົ້າ ໕໐໐໐ ວັດສາ ນິບພານະ ປັດຈະໂຍ ໂຫນຕຸ ໂນ. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: (໒) ລານທີ່ ໒໖ ໜ້າ ໑: ພຸດທະສັງກາດຣາຊະໄດ້ ໒໔໘໘ ຕົວປີ ຮັບເຮົ້າ ເດືອນ ໙ ລົງ ໑໑ ຄໍ່າ ພໍ່າວ່າໄດ້ ວັນ ໓ ຍາມກອງງາຍ ໝາຍມີ ສົມເດັດພະສັງຄະຣາດ (ບຸນທັນ) ວັດໃໝ່ ພ້ອມດ້ວຍສິດໂຍມທັງຫລາຍສ້າງຍັງ ມະທຸຣົດວາຫິນີ ມັດນີ້ມີ ໗ ຜູກໄວ້ຄໍ້າຊູສາສະໜາພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າ ຕາບຕໍ່ເທົ້າ ໕໐໐໐ ວັດສາ ນິບພານະ ປັດຈະໂຍ ໂຫນຕຸ ໂນ ທຸວັງ ທຸວັງ ປະຣະມັງ ສຸກຂັງ.

In the time of Kassapa Buddha, a man listened to the preaching on anisong of khao salak (the rewards derived from offering food to be distributed by tickets) at the presence of the Buddha. After listening the man was delighted and faithful in the offering. So, he offered the food along with milk to the monks and the Buddha. Due to the results of the good action, after death he was reborn in a heaven along with the heavenly property. Colophon: (1) Folio 24 on the recto side: Buddhist Era 2488, a hap hao year, the eleventh day of the waning moon of the ninth lunar month, and the third day of the week (Tuesday). The writing of this manuscript was accomplished at the time of the kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). The Supreme Patriach Thammanyano Bunthan from Vat Mai together with his disciples and lay Buddhists sponsored the making of [this manuscript entitled] Mathurotvahini, there are seven fascicles in this bundle, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May this be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna.
