The Dhammapada story of Visakha. The Buddha spoke about the past of Visakha. In the time of the Buddha maned Pathumuttara, she offered food to the Buddha for seven days and also offered the Buddha a fine cloth for his robe. She wished to become great in the heavens, achieved 8 blessings in the Buddha place, as a mother, as an excellent Upasika (a female devotee) who is able to offer the four requisites. The Buddha predicted that in the religion of the Buddha named Gotama you would become an Upasika named Visakha. In the time of the Buddha named kassapa, she was reborn as the seventh daughter of King Kasi. She made a lot of merits with alms-giving and set her wishes as the same. Since then, she was reborn in the heavenly world and human world until this life; she was born as the daughter of Dhananjaya setthi and made a great merit in the realm of my Teachings.
