On a sluice found in the tank of the village Rāsāppaṭṭi. The inscription found in the agricultural field on the south side 200 m away from the Kāndalūr big tank This verse inscription refers to the erection of a sluice in the tank made by Kaliyaṉmūrkkaṉ. Based on palaeographical grounds, it is dated to 10th century CE.
