On a sluice stone found in the Navakkuḍi tank. This inscription was issued during the 22nd regnal year of the Chōḻa king Kulōttuṅga-I. It records the construction of a tank and erection of a sluice by the Olōkkaṉ Uṭaiyaṉ alias Uṟaiyūr Nāṭṭuppallavaraiyaṉ. There are two inscriptions. This one is the first inscription. Inscription: svasti srī kolōt/tuṅka cōḻatēvaṟku/yāṇṭu 22 āvatu /ikkuḷamum/umiḻiyum/piyā. . . vāṉ i/tu ceyvittāṉ olō/kkaṉ uṭaiyāṉāṉa u/ṟaiyūr nāṭṭup palla/varaiyaṉ Location of original material: Navakudi, Tiruchchirappalli district, Tamil Nadu, India.
