O documento é um processo aberto pelo Juízo de Direito da 4ª Vara Penal em 23 de abril de 1925 referente ao crime de Desacato cometido por Estevan Alves Barbosa contra a vítima Floriano de Barbosa. A vítima, sub-prefeito da Chefeadura de Segurança Publica encontrou o acusado em atividade do jogo do bicho. A citada autoridade foi insultada com palavras injuriosas pelo acusado, que resistiu com agressividade a prisão. O acusado entrou em luta corporal com um dos agentes policiais presente no local, sendo preso e autuado em flagrante. Ao final dos autos, a denúncia fo julgada improcedente e o réu foi absolvido.
