Buddhabhumi means the plane of the Buddha, on the other hand means a person who has not attained enlightenment but performing perfections and set up his wish for becoming a Buddha in the future and enters Niravana.The person who wishes to enter Nirvana must have a mind free from all evils, not to get attached to external objects and practice strictly by using various principles in consideration such as the fourfold noble truth, the eightfold noble path, the fivefold aggregate, the threefold characteristic, the threefold craving, the threefold knowledge and the eightfold knowledge, etc. Colophon: Folio 27on the verso side: The initiator, Sathu Pho Müang Kang Unhüan from Xaing Thong village, Luang Prabang sponsored the making of this manuscript entitled Phutthaphumma Vatthu (Story of the the Buddhas) since Chulasangkat (CS) 1299, on the sixth day of the waning moon of the eighth lunar month, Sunday.
