In the Buddha’s time, there were two orphan brothers named Sukkhato and Sukkhata respectively, living in Singharajaburi city. Cause of poverty, one day, Sukhato thought to sell his brother to a rich man. He then talked to Sukhata that, “I would like to sell you to a rich man for money to investment. When I have income, I will ransome you from the rich man”. Sukhata agreed with. Sukhato then sold Sukhata to a rich man for 10,000 of silver and 1,000 of gold. After having the money, Sukhato used the money for the wedding ceremony with a daughter of the other rich man without thinking to their agreement and his brother who was the servant of the rich man’s house.
