Sirasa Jataka tells about the previous life of the Buddha when he was born as Sirasa Kumara, the last son of King Pathamaraja and Queen Surasidevi of the kingdom of Pupphavadi. When the Bodhisatta was being born, he came out of his mother's mouth. Therefore, he was accused by a bad Brahma named Majjhahayaka, who was a priest, of being kalakini (unfortunate). The king disbelieved. So, the Bodhisatta was banished on a raft.
