The content tells the younger brother of Venerable Mahapala was informed by the monks that his brother has gone blind. When the younger brother heard the news, he cried and asked what should be done? The monks recommended to send someone to bring him back. The younger brother sent his nephew who was a monk named Palita to receive the older brother. When the novice arrived, he invited Venerable Mahapala returning the Jetavana monastery. On the way, the novice heard a girl singing in the forest, he left the Venerable's stick, saying that he was going to do some personal business for a while. The Venerable thought in his mind that, this novice will probably have failure of morality. Because he heard a woman's voice, then he left. Therefore, the Venerable drove the novice away. Later, Indra changed his body to help guide the way to the Jetavana monastery. When the younger brother heard that the elder brother had arrived, he rushed to receive him and took care of him.
