ອະນາຄະຕະວົງ (ຜູກ ໗)

ພະຜູ້ມີພະພາກເຈົ້າຕັດແກ່ພະສາຣິບຸດເຖຣະວ່າ ດູລາ ສາລີບຸດ ອັນວ່າພິກຂຸ ອະຊິຕະ ຈະໄດ້ເປັນພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າ ໃນອະນາຄົດຕະການ ມີພະນາມວ່າ ເມດໄຕພຸດທະເຈົ້າ. ພະພຸດທະອົງປະກອບດ້ວຍ ລັກສະນະມະຫາບຸລຸດ ໓໒ ປະການ ແລະອະນຸພະຍັນຊະນະ ໘໐ ປະການ ມີຮູບໂສມອັນງົດງາມ ມີຜີວພັນວັນນະດຸດດັ່ງທອງຄໍາ ອັນປາສະຈາກເຫື່ອໄຄ ແລະມີລັດສະມີຮຸ່ງເຮືອງງາມ.

The Buddha spoke to Sariputta Thera that “Sariputta! Bhikkhu Ajita will become a Buddha in the future, named Metteyya Buddha. The new Buddha will have fulfilled of 32 characteristics of the Lord Buddha and 80 subsidiary characteristics. He also has a beautiful look with complexion like gold without sweat and bright rays.
