ໃນສະໄໝໜຶ່ງ ພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າປະທັບຢູ່ປ່າເວລຸວັນ ກຸງຣາຊະຄຶ. ເມື່ອພະເຈົ້າສຸດໂທທະນະພຸດທະບິດາຊົງຊາບຂ່າວແລະມີພະປະສົງຢາກເຫັນພະພຸດທະອົງ ຈຶ່ງສັ່ງໃຫ້ອໍາມາດພ້ອມດ້ວຍບໍລິວານໜຶ່ງພັນຄົນ ໃຫ້ໄປອາຣາທະນາທູນເຊີນໃຫ້ພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າກັບນະຄອນກະບິນລະພັດ ເຖິງ ໑໐ ຄັ້ງ. ເມື່ອອໍາມາດແລະບໍລິວານໄປເຖິງວັດເວລຸວັນ ໄດ້ຟັງພະທໍາມະເທດສະໜາຈາກພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າກໍ່ໄດ້ບັນລຸເປັນພະອໍລະຫັນ ແລ້ວໄດ້ຂໍບວດເປັນພະພິກຂຸທັງໝົດ ຈຶ່ງບໍ່ໄດ້ສົ່ງຂ່າວໃຫ້ພະເຈົ້າສຸດໂທທະນະຊາບ. ໃນຄັ້ງທີ່ ໑໐ ພະອົງຈຶ່ງສັ່ງໃຫ້ກາລຸທາຍີອໍາມາດ ຊຶ່ງເປັນຄົນທີ່ພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າໂປດປານ. ຄັ້ນກາລຸທາຍີພ້ອມດ້ວຍບໍລິວານໜຶ່ງພັນຄົນໄປເຖິງແລະໄດ້ຟັງພະທໍາມະເທດສະໜາ ໄດ້ບັນລຸເປັນພະອໍລະຫັນແລະໄດ້ບວດເປັນພິກຂຸທັງໝົດ ແຕ່ເມື່ອໄດ້ເວລາອັນສົມຄວນແລ້ວ ພະອຸທາຍີ ຈຶ່ງໄດ້ຂາບທູນເຊີນພະພຸດທະອົງສະເດັດກັບສູ່ກຸງກະບິນລະພັດ.ພະພຸດທະອງພ້ອມດ້ວຍພະພິກຂຸຈໍານວນສອງໝື່ນອົງ ຈຶ່ງໄດ້ສະເດັດໄປເມືອງກະບິນລະພັດ.
On one occasion, the Buddha was residing at the Veluvana monastery in Rajagaha. King Suddhodhana, the Buddha’s father knew, he wished to see the Buddha. Then the king sent a councilor along with one thousand followers to invite the Buddha returning Kapilavatthu for ten times. When the councilor and his followers arrived in the Veluvana, they all listened to the preaching by the Buddha and became arahants and ordained as monks. So, nobody sent news to the king. At the tenth time, the king sent Kaludayi who was favorite of the Buddha. When Kaludayi and his one thousand followers arrived in the monastery, they listened to the preaching and also became arahants and ordained as monks. Sometime later, Venerable Kaludayi invited the Buddha went to Kapilavatthu. Then the Buddha along with twenty thousand followers travelled to Kapilavatthu.
