Thipphamon or Dibbamanta (divine spell) with the whole text in Pali is a text of preaching popularly used to read by a monk while giving a sermon at various auspicious ceremonies. During listening to the preaching, the hosts scatter prepared money and candy to the listeners. This is called ‘the rain of crystal’. The text is like the blessings to the hosts and the listeners as following: May any evils are not up with you. May your things and comestibles not to be finished. The heaps of paddy and rice fell down in the house of Dhananjayasetthi, may the heaps of paddy and rice fall down in your house as well, and etc. Colophon: Folio 8 on the recto side: Sangkat (CS) 1266, a tao nyi (huang pao) year, the eleventh day of the waxing moon of the seventh lunar month, the third day of the week (Tuesday). Phanya Mün Nan along with his wife and relatives had the most ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript [entitled] Sapphasut, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May this be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna.
