Chulaphon or Culavana the sixth episode with 35 verses in a total of 13 episodes of the Vessantara Jataka with the whole text written in Pali. Chulaphon means a small forest, the content tells Jujaka was walking directly to Mount Vamka for bagging the two kumaras, Jali and Kanha from Prince Vessantara. On his way, Jujaka met Jetaputta hunter. When he was chasing by the hunter dogs, he climbed a tree. Then Jujaka was able to trick the huntsman. Saying that he was the royal emissary to invite Prince Vessantara return home and held up a pepper box that was a royal herald. The hunter trusted him easily and pointed the way to Mount Vamka through the hermitage of Acuta hermit.
