Tika Dhammachak (Expansion scripture of the Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta). In Kapilavatthu, there was a king named Sihanu who ruled the kingdom. The king had his queen named Kancana and three sons named Sisuddhodana, Sukkodana and Amitodana respectively. When Prince Sisuddhodana gruw, the king had eight Brahmins to tell the characteristics of a girl who was worthy for Sisuddhana. The eight Brahmins told that the girl who was worthy for Sisuddhodana had to have 64 kinds of qualification. The king then gave them some money for their predictions and also ordered them to look for such a girl for Prince Sisuddhana. Colophon: Folio 26 on the recto side: Sangkat 176 (corresponding with CS 1176), a kap set year, the fourth day of the waxing moon of the first lunar month, and a tao set day. The writing was accomplished at the horn closed to (between 15.00–16.30 o’clock). The royal faith of the king had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Tika Thammachak to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May this be a condition to reach Nibbāna.
