Tika Dhammachak (Expansion scripture of the Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta). Once in the past, a king named Lokajota ruled Benares. He fell in love with a princess named Sangkhaniya. The king ordered his minsters to build a castle given name as Danyasasi. Then the king married the pricess and established her as his queen. The king also ordered his ministers to make a cow farm and put 1,000 dairy cows to the farm. Young Nandiya was assigned to raise the cows and squeeze the cows’ milk for the king. Colophon: Folio 26 on the recto side: Sangkat 176 (corresponding with CS 1176), a kap set year, the fourth day of the waxing moon of the first lunar month, and a tao set day. The writing was accomplished at the horn closed to (between 15.00–16.30 o’clock). The royal faith of the king had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Tika Thammachak to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May this be a condition to reach Nibbāna.
