This text tells about the Abhidhamma or higher doctrine called Abhidhamma Pitaka that is the compilation of the Buddha’s words in the Abhidhamma category containing principles and explanations that are purely academic, not related to people or events, divided into 7 scriptures are: 1. Dhammasangani (Enumeration of phenomena) 2. Vibhanga (The book of treatise) 3. Dhatukatha (Discission with reference to the elements) 4. Puggalapannatti (Description of individuals) 5. Kathavatthu (Point of controversy) 6. Yamaka (The book of pairs) 7. Patthana (The book of relations, explains 24 conditions in details). Colophon: Folio 31 on the recto side: In Chunlasangkat (CS) 1283, a huang hao year, on the third day of the waxing moon of the third lunar month, the fifth day of the week (Thursday), the writing was accomplished at the past of five o’clock. Thit Phan and his wife, Sao Pan together with children, grandchildren and relatives sponsored the making of this manuscript [entitled] 8 mün (eighty thousand) to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May our wishes come true. Nibbāna paccayo hontu no dhuvaṃ niccaṃ (May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana, certainly and constantly).
