The text was written in Pali and Lao languages, tells about Mahāpatthāna, which is the seventh book of the seven books of the Abhidhamma Pitaka. Mahāpatthāna is the scripture that explains in deep details of of the twenty-four factors and describes a causal relationship of all virtues. Colophon: Folio 25 on the recto side: In Sangkat (CS) 1256, a kap sanga year, on the fifth day of the waxing moon of the first lunar month, the second day of the week (Monday), a kat hao day, the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). Nang Phia Müangkang sponsored the making of this manuscript [entitled] 8 Mün (eighty thousand) to support the Teachings of the Buddha. May all our wishes come true.
