Yamaka (Book on Pairs) is the sixth book of the Abhidhamma. Some of the content is written in Pali and some in Lao tells about the raising of the topics of the Dhamma to diagnose by asking and answering questions in pairs. The Dhamma in pairs consists of ten items as following: 1. Mūla Yamaka: Pairs on roots 2. Khandha Yamaka: Pairs on the 5 aggregates 3. Āyatana Yamaka: Pairs on the 12 bases 4. Dhātu Yamaka: Pairs on the 18 elements 5. Sacca Yamaka: Pairs on the 4 Truths 6. Saṅkhāra Yamaka: Pairs on the 3 formations 7. Anusaya Yamaka: Pairs on the 7 latent states 8. Citta Yamaka: Pairs on the 4 consciousness 9. Dhamma Yamaka: Pairs on the Dhamma of wholesome and unwholesome 10. Indriya Yamaka: Pairs on the 22 faculties.
