The Brahmin caught Bhuridatta in a net bag and then carried it out to show the people to earn money. The Brahmin forced Bhuridatta to perform various powers such as making the body big or small, curt it up, loosen it, spread the slats, spray fire, spray smoke, spray water. Bhuridatta followed him everything. The people who saw the show felt pity and gave the Brahmin money and belongings. The Brahmin became more greedy. He took Bhuridatta to show from village to village until at last reached Varanasi. He told the king that the naga would perform his astonishing talents for him. Meanwhile, Samudacha had missed Bhuridatta and sent his brothers to seek him. Sudassana went to search in the human world. Suboga went to Himavanta forest. Arittha went to search in the kingdom of the gods. Accimukkhi, the Bhuridatta’s step-sister accompanied with Sudassana. Colophon: Folio 25 on the recto side: Sangkat (CS) 1234, a tao san year, on a tao chai day, the fourteenth day of the waning moon of the eighth lunar month, the writing of this manuscript was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). The initiator, Saen Maithi together with his children, grandchildren, relatives and siblings sponsord the making of this manuscript entitled Phurithat and Chantha Kumman (Bhuridatta and Canda Kumara), to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May all our wishes and desires come true. Nibbānaṃ paramaṃ sukhaṃ (Nirvanaa is the greatest bliss).
