The text mentions about Dukkha vedana (painful feelings) which means suffering such as suffering due to formations including suffering due to birth, age, sickness and death. The sufferings happen according to patticca samuppada12 (the twelffold conditioned arisings). Colophon: Folio 24 on the recto side: Sangkat (CS) 1219, a moeng sai year, the fifteenth day of the waxing moon of the fourth lunar month, the seventh day of the week (Saturday), a huang mao day, the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.00–9.30 o’clock). Phanya Mün Lukthao and his wife together with all their children, grandchildren and relatives jointly sponsored the making of this manuscript [entitled] 8 Mün to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna is the greatest bliss.
