ພະຜູ້ມີພະພາກເຈົ້າຊົງສະແດງພະທໍາມະເທດສະໜາເລື່ອງ ອານິສົງການໃຫ້ທານແລະອານິສົງຂອງການຮັກສາສີນ ໃຫ້ແກ່ນາງປັດສະຈິດຕາ ກຸມມາລີ ຢ່າງລະອຽດແລະແຈ່ມແຈ້ງ ຄັ້ນເມື່ອພະພຸດທະອົງຊົງສະແດງພະທໍາມະເທດສະໜາສິ້ນສຸດລົງ ນາງປັດສະຈິດຕາ ກຸມມານລີກໍໄດ້ຂາບໄຫວ້ທູນຖາມພະພຸດທະອົງວ່າ ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າເປັນຄົນທຸກໄຮ້ ເຂັນໃຈ ບໍ່ມີວັດຖຸສິ່ງຂອງໃດໆ ຈະໃຫ້ເປັນທານ ພະພຸດທະອົງຈຶ່ງຕັດໃຫ້ນາງທໍາທານຕາມກໍາລັງສັດທາທີ່ຕົນມີ ແລະໃຫ້ຮັກສາສີນຢ່າໃຫ້ຂາດ ນາງຈຶ່ງໄດ້ໃຫ້ທານແລະຮັກສາສີນຕັ້ງແຕ່ນັ້ນມາ.

The Buddha described in details of the merit derived from giving alms and observing precepts to Passacitta Kumari. After the sermon, Passacitta Kumari was happy and informed the Buddha that she did not have any thing for giving. Then the Buddha told her that she should do the giving as she can, but must observe the precepts forever which she accepted to follow.
