Akaravattasut is one of the greatest suttas. No other suttas are able to compare. It is integrated the Sutta, the Vinaya, and Abhidhamma Pitakas. The contents are verses in Pali and explanation in Lao. On one occasion, while residing at the Gijjhakuta hill, the Buddha spoke to Venerable Sariputta on this Akaravatta Sutta. The verses of Akaravattasut are more powerful than other suttas in the protection from all dangers for those who regularly keep these verses in mind. All sins will not be a ble to penetrate into the nature by the power of this Akaravattasut. Whoever listened to it, written it by himself, or hired someone else to write it for him, memorised it, taught it to others, worshiped and respected it, regularly recited it in meditation will be free from 30 kinds of dangers. Thit Kaeo and his wife, Sao Khamdi sponsored the making of this manuscript [entitled] Akaravattasut, to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May the results of this merit support us through this life and the future lives. May all our wishes and desires come true. On the other hand, may two of us achieve our wishes and desires.
