The prayers with the whole text written in Pali are used by monks, novices and lay Buddhists in the chanting ceremony and other auspicious Buddhist ceremonies, start with the chapters of Vanditva, Rājato, Evam me, Ratana Sutta, Karanīyamettaya Sutta, etc. Colophon: Folio 33 on the recto side: Chunlasangkat (CS) 1273, a huang khai year on the tenth day of the waxing moon of the ninth lunar month, the seventh day of the week (Saturday), the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 9.00–10.30 o’clock). Thit Phao and his wife, Sao Phaengsi together with all their parents and relatives had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Sutmon Nòi to support the Teachings of the Buddha. Even if both of us died from the bodies and the hman world, may this merit support us to be born in the supreme city and Nirvana, definitely. Sudinnaṃ vatta nibbāna paccayo hontu no (May this gift be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna).
