The prayers with the whole text written in Pali are used by monks, novices and lay Buddhists in the chanting ceremony and other auspicious Buddhist ceremonies, start with the chapters of Vanditva, Rājato, Evam me, Ratana Sutta, Karanīyamettaya Sutta, etc. Colophon: Folio 26 on the recto side: Chunlasangkat 0002 (corresponding with CS 1002), a kat mot year on the eighth day of the waxing moon of the second lunar month, a ka mao day, the seventh day of the week (Saturday), the writing was accomplished at the time of thae kai thiang (between 9.00–10.30 o’clock). Thao Duang is the scribe and along with all his children, grand children and relatives had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Sutmon Nòi to last until the end of 5000 years. May our wishes and desires come true. Nibbāna paccayo hontu no dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ nibbānaṃ paramaṃ sukhaṃ (May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana, certainly. Nirvana is the greatest bliss).
