The prayers with the whole text written in Pali are used by monks, novices and lay Buddhists in the chanting ceremony and other auspicious Buddhist ceremonies, start with the chapters of Vanditva, Rajato, Evam me, Ratana Sutta, Karaniyamettaya Sutta, etc. Colophon: Folio 27 on the recto side: Chunlasangkat 1295, a ka hao year, on the thirteenth day of the waxing moon of the tenth lunar month, the seventh day of the week (Saturday), a huang mot day. The writing was accomplished at the time of kòng vat (between 15.00–16.30 o’clock). The initiator, Novice Phò Poen had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Sutmon Nòi to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May the results of this merit be a diposition and condition to support me through this life and the future lives, and reach the three states of happiness with Nibbāna as the ultimate goal. May all my wishes and desires not be ignored. May I be free from the round of rebirths and enter Nibbāna, and be free from all dangers and not be stuck in the three worlds as wished. May this be a condition for me to reach Nibbāna constantly and definitely. I am Bhikkhu Rattanapannya the scribe. I rejoice with. My handwriting is not beautiful as a new writer. There are small and big alphabets, they are not in the same size.
