Vinaya text on Sekhiya (rules of training). The text was written in Nisaya style tells the proper behaviors of monks while collecting alms, having meals, and teaching Dhamma. For examples, I will receive almsfood appreciatively, with intention focused on the bowl. I will eat almsfood appreciatively. I will not speak with the mouth full of food. I will not teach Dhamma to a person with a weapon in his hand who is not ill. Colophon:Folio 26 on the recto side: Chunlasangkat 182 (corresponding with CS 1182), a kot si year, the seventh day of the waning moon of the seventh lunar month, the seventh day of the week (Saturday), a poek san day. Akkhavòrarasakhuchao from Vat Phon Kaeo offered gold and silver to the His Majesty King of the kingdom of Chanthaburi in order to sponsor the making of this manuscript of Tipitaka and to support the Teaching of the Buddha in Luang Prabang. The writing of this manuscript was accomplished at the time of the kòng ngai (between 7.30 - 9.00 o’clock).
