Vinaya text. The text was written in Nisaya style. The content tells about the monks who are travelling on feet to various places in the rainy season. They might step on grass and plants. This would be trouble for villagers and also encroach on lives of the small and bid animals. Colophon:Folio 26 on the recto side: Chunlasangkat 182 (corresponding with CS 1182), a kot si year, the seventh day of the waning moon of the seventh lunar month, the seventh day of the week (Saturday), a poek san day. Akkhavòrarasakhuchao from Vat Phon Kaeo offered gold and silver to the His Majesty King of the kingdom of Chanthaburi in order to sponsor the making of this manuscript of Tipitaka and to support the Teaching of the Buddha in Luang Prabang. The writing of this manuscript was accomplished at the time of the kòng ngai (between 7.30 - 9.00 o’clock).
