Lao customary law on the mediation of the cases. The content tells the story of a lion king and cow king. In a forest, there was a lion king that was the king of other animals. A jackal that had five hundred subordinates was the lion’s minister. One day, another jackal met a big cow named Usupahrat. This cow was prestigious and powerful. The jackal told its head about the cow. Hearing that the other jackals were afraid of the cow. Thus the jackal head reported the lion that the cow was powerful. It might become the dominant influence in this forest instead of you. The lion king then went with the jackal to meet the cow. When both met and talked, they became good friends and lived happily in the same forest.
