ໃນສະໄໝໜຶ່ງ ພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າປະທັບຢູ່ເມືອງກະປິລະວັດຖຸນະຄອນ ພະອົງໄດ້ຕັດເທດສະໜາແກ່ພຸດທະສາວົກ ແລະ ຊາວເມືອງທັງຫຼາຍອັນໄດ້ ໘ ໝື່ນກະກູນ ພະອົງໄດ້ປາລົບເຊິ່ງຄອງ ໒ ປະການອັນໄດ້ແກ່ ທານແລະສີນ. ຜົນຂອງການໃຫ້ທານແລະຮັກສາສີນລ້ວນແຕ່ມີຄວາມແຕກຕ່າງກັນ. ບຸກຄົນຜູ້ປາດຖະໜາເອົາໂລກິຍະສົມບັດ ຄືປາດຖະໜາເປັນພະຣາຊາ ເປັນເສດຖີ ຄະຫະບໍດີ ເປັນອິນ ເປັນພົມ ເປັນພະເຈົ້າຈັກກະວັດຕິຣາດ ເຫຼົ່ານີ້ຖືວ່າເປັນຄວາມປາດຖະໜາທີ່ມີຄວາມປະໝາດໃນຊີວິດເພາະປະກອບດ້ວຍຕັນຫາ. ສ່ວນບຸກຄົນທີ່ປາດຖະໜາເອົາໂລກຸດຕະຣະສົມບັດ ຄືພະນິບພານ ຖືວ່າເປັນຄວາມປາດຖະໜາອັນປະເສີດແລະສູງສຸດ. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: ລານທີ່ ໓໒ ໜ້າ ໑: ສັງກາດ ໑໒໔໓ ຕົວ ປີຮ້ວງໃສ້ ເດືອນ ໑໒ ແຮມ ໑໔ ຄໍ່າ ວັນ ໑ ເປີກສະງ້າ ລິດຈະນາແລ້ວຍາມທ່ຽງວັນ ໝາຍມີ ມະຫາສົມເດັດອິນທະປັນຍາ ປິດຕາມາດາພັນທຸວົງສາ ຍາຕິກາພ້ອມກັນສ້າງ ມຸນລະນິບພານນະສູດ ອັນນີ້ໄວ້ກັບພຸດທະສາດສະໜາພະຕະຖາຄະຕະ ຕາບຕໍ່ເທົ້າ ໕໐໐໐໐ ພັນພະວະສາ. ຂໍໃຫ້ຜູ້ຂ້າໄດ້ເຖິງອໍຣະຫັດ(ຫັນ) ອົງ ໑ ອັນຈັກມາພາຍໜ້າ ພ້ອມພະອະຣິຍະເມດໄຕຍະເຈົ້າອົງຈັກມາພາຍໜ້າພຸ້ນກໍຂ້າເທີ້ນ. ຂໍໃຫ້ປິດຕາມາດາ ພັນທຸວົງສາທັງຫລາຍຝູງນັ້ນ ໄດ້ເຖິງສຸກ ໓ ປະການເຖິງນີຣະພານເປັນທີ່ແລ້ວ ຢ່າຄາດແຄ້ວດັ່ງຄໍາປາດຖະໜາ ແຫ່ງຜູ້ຂ້າແດ່ກໍຂ້າເທີ້ນ ຝູງຕາຍໄປນັ້ນ ຄັນວ່າໄດ້ເຖິງທຸກຂໍໃຫ້ໄດ້ເຖິງສຸກ ຄັນວ່າ ໄດ້ເຖິງສຸກແລ້ວ ຂໍໃຫ້ໄດ້ເຖິງສຸກຍິ່ງກວ່າເກົ່າ (ເໝືອນ)ໝື່ນເທົ່າແລແສນທີ ກໍຂ້າເທີ້ນ ຂໍໃຫ້ສັງຄະເຈົ້າທັງມວນໄດ້ສຸກ ໓ ປະການເຖິງນິຣະພານເຈົ້າທຸກອົງກໍຂ້າເທີ້ນ ນິບພານະ ປັດຈະໂຍ ໂຫຕຸ ໂນ ທຸວັງ ທຸວັງ ນິດຈັງ ນິດຈັງ.
On one occasion, the Buddha was residing in Kapilavatthu, the Buddha delivered a sermon to his disciples and the people from eighty thousand families. The Buddha related to the two things that are dāna–alms-giving and sīla–morality. The results from alms-giving and observing precepts are different. Those who wish to gain lokiya sampatti (worldly success) such as kingship, millionaires, wealthy people, Indra, Brahma, or emperors. Their wishes are regarded as carelessness in life because of following with the ones graving. Those who wish to gain lokuttara sampatti (super mundane success) that is Nirvana, their wish is sublime and ultimate. Colophon: Folio 32 on the recto side: Sangkat 1243, a huang sai year, the fourteenth day of the waxing moon of the twelfth lunar month, the first day of the week (Sunday), and a poek sanga day. Maha Somdet (Patriarch) Inthapannya together with his father, mother and relatives sposored the making of this manuscript of the Munlanipphannasut for the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end 5000 years. May I become an arahat in the future along with Pha Ariya Metteyya who will come the future. May my father, mother and all relatives reach the three states of happiness with Niravna as the ultimate goal. May my wishes not be ignored. For ones who died, if they are in a suffering place, may they be moved to a good place. If they are already in a good place, may they be better than ever, ten thousand times and one hundred thousand times. May all the Sangha obtain the three states of happiness as the ultimate goal. May this be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna certainly and constantly.
