Description: The Association of the Damas Patricias (or Aristocratic Ladies) was funded in 191o by women who descended from the national heroes of the Independence and the so called “National Organisation”--from Bartolomé Mitre’s presidency to the presidency of Roque Saenz Peña . In 1910, they were called Argentine Society of Aristocratic Ladies for God and the Nation. This envelope informs about the Association of the Aristocratic Ladies and its branches in the different Argentine provinces. It is a handmade envelope that contains one stationary envelope and loose material comprising photographs, plus newspapers’ and magazines’ clippings and articles.
