On a sluice found in the Tēṉērippaṭṭi big tank. It records the erection of sluice made by Turutti Varaguṇaṉ son of Varaguṇaṉ Turutti of Panaṅguḍi in Mīceṅkaḷi Nāḍu. It is interesting to note that the king Perunaṟkiḷḷi Chōḻa can be identified with the king Rājakēsarivarmaṉ (i.e., Aditya Chola-I (871-911 CE) who was called so after his great ancestor Perunaṟkiḷḷi of Sangam fame who performed the Rājasuya sacrifice.
