This inscription is found on the southern pillar of the sluice of the tank called Periyakaṇmāi located in the Nāchchiyārpaṭṭi village. This inscription refers to the erection of the sluice by Maṅnaṉ Teṉkoṇḍāṉ. On the palaeographical ground, it could be dated to the 17th century CE.
