This inscription is found on the sluice located on the northern part of the Sethurāyapuḷḷīpaṭṭī village tank called Ūttukkaṇmāi. This sluice was erected by the Ūṟṟiyūr Peruvaṇṇāṉ of Kāṉa-nāḍu. On the palaeographical ground, it could be dated to 13th century CE.
