Police investigation opened by the Public Prosecutor's Office on 25 July 1969 into the crime of slander committed by Judith Veloso Lacerda against Antônio Rodrigues da Silveira and Raimunda Figueiredo da Silveira. The victim's son allegedly threw a stone at the accused's house in order to get back at her daughter for beating him. Motivated by this, the accused went to the victim's house and tried to assault her. As she was unable to do so, she slandered the victim. The accused signed a statement of retraction and the case was dropped.
