ສອງສັບພະທານ

ໃນສະໄໝໜຶ່ງ ພະຜູ້ມີພະພາກເຈົ້າປະທັບຢູ່ທີ່ວັດເຊຕະວັນ ເມືອງສາວັດຖີ. ໃນກາລະຄັ້ງນັ້ນ ມີພະຍາຕົນໜຶ່ງຊື່ ມະຫານາມະ ໄດ້ເຂົ້າເຝົ້າພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າແລະທູນຖາມພະພຸດທະອົງວ່າ ບຸກຄົນຜູ້ໃດເຫຼື້ອມໃສສັດທາມາກໍ່ສ້າງສັບພະທານຫຼາຍຊະນິດ ກໍ່ຈັກມີອານິສົງແນວໃດພະເຈົ້າຂ້າ? ພະພຸດທະອົງ ໄດ້ຕັດເທສະໜາອານິສົງການກໍ່ສ້າງສັບພະທານຫຼາຍຊະນິດໃຫ້ແກ່ພະຍາມະຫານາມະ ມີອານິສົງການສ້າງພະພຸດທະຮູບ ຈັກໄດ້ອານິສົງ ໑໐ ກັບ ເປັນເບື້ອງຕົ້ນ ແລະອານິສົງການຟັງເທສະໜາພະເຫວດສັນດອນຈົບໃນວັນດຽວ ກໍ່ຈະໄດ້ອານິສົງຫຼາຍແລະຈະໄດ້ເກີດໃນສາສະໜາພະສີອະຣິຍະເທດໄຕ ເປັນທີ່ສຸດ. ອານິສົງທີ່ໄດ້ໃນປັດຈຸບັນຄື ຈະໄປທາງໃດກໍ່ມີຄົນນັບໜ້າຖືຕາ ເປັນທີ່ຮັກຂອງຄົນທົ່ວໄປ ເມື່ອສິ້ນຊີວິດແລ້ວ ກໍ່ຈະໄດ້ເມືອເກີດໃນຕາວະຕິງສາສະຫວັນ ເມື່ອຈຸຕິຈາກສະຫວັນກໍ່ຈະໄດ້ລົງມາເກີດໃນຕະກູນທ້າວພະຍາມະຫາກະສັດ ເປັນຕົ້ນ. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: ລານທີ ໘ ໜ້າ ໑: ພຸດທະສັງກາດຣາຊະໄດ້ ໒໕໑໒ ເດືອນ ໑໑ ຂຶ້ນ ໗ ຄໍ່າ ວັນ ໗ ຣິດຈະນາແລ້ວຍາມແຖ່ໃກ້ທ່ຽງ ໝາຍມີ ສາທຸພໍ່ຈັນ ເຈົ້າອາທິການວັດລ້ອງຄູນ ໄດ້ມີໃຈໃສສັດທາເປັນອັນຍິ່ງ ຈິ່ງໄດ້ສ້າງໜັງສື ສອງສັບພະທານ ຜູກນີ້ ໄວ້ກັບສາສະໜາພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າ ຕາບຕໍ່ເທົ້າ ໕໐໐໐ ພະວັດສາ. ປະການ ໑ ຂໍໃຫ້ໂກສົນຜົນບຸນພະທໍາເຈົ້ານີ້ແຜ່ໄປຮອດໄປເຖິງນາຍເປັ້ງ ຜູ້ທີ່ລວງລັບໄປສູ່ບໍຣະໂລກພາຍໜ້າ ແມ່ນວ່າຕົກທີ່ຮ້າຍ ຂໍໃຫ້ຢ້າຍໃສ່ທີ່ດີ ຕົກທີ່ດີຂໍໃຫ້ດີຍິ່ງກວ່າເກົ່າດັ່ງຄໍາມັກຄໍາປາດຖະໜາທຸກສິ່ງແດ່ກໍ່ຂ້າເທີ້ນ ນິບພານະ ປັດຈະໂຍ ໂຫຕຸ.

On one occasion, the Buddha was residing at the Jetavana monastery in Savatthi. The Buddha gave a sermon relating the rewards derived from giving the various kinds of gifts the king. The Buddha started with offering a Buddha statue will gain the rewards for nine kappa (eon) until ended the listening to the preaching of Vessantara Jataka finished in a day will gain much merit and will reborn in the time of Metteyya Buddha. The rewards that are currently achieved are to be respected and loved by onthers. After death, the person will reborn in Tavatimsa heaven. After the heaven, the person will reborn in rich families like royal family. Sathu Phò Chan, abbot of Vat Long Khun temple had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Sòng Sappha Thān (Rewards derived from the donation of all kinds of gift-giving) to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May the results of this merit support my Nai Peng who already died to the other world. Even if he has been stuck in a misery place, may the results of this merit to move him to a good place. Even if he is already in a good place, may he get better than ever as my wishes. May this be a condition to reach Nirvana.
