The text tells about Sakka-pañhā Sutta: Sakka’s questions. When the Indra, the devas king came to the presence of the Buddha and asked him for a sermon. The the time, the Indra asked many questions with the Buddha. The Buddha replied and explained clearly. When the sermon was over, the Indra attained Satapana and had a new long age in the heaven. Colophon: Folio 8 on the recto side: Sangkat (CS) 1280, a poek sanga year, on the third day of the waxing moon of the fifth lunar month, the fifth day of the week (Thursday), the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng thiang (between 10.30–12.00 o’clock). I am Chittapannya Phikkhu had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Süp Sua Phanya In, to support the Teaching of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna paccayo hotu me niccaṃ dhuvaṃ paranaṃ sukhaṃ (May this be a condition for me to reach Nibbāna, certainly). On the other hand, in this present life, may I have longevity for one hundred years, definitely. Sudinnaṃ vatta me dānaṃ nibbāna paccayo hotu niccaṃ (May the alms that I have already given be a condition to reach Nibbāna).
