The content tells about Nibbāna. Nibbāna is the state of complete cessation of defilements and suffering. There are two types of the nirvana state: Saupadisesa nibbāna is one who attains the Arahat, but retains the five aggregates, that is, living and having to meet the worldly things. Anupādisesa nibbāna is an arhat who lives until the day of nirvana and the five aggregates are completely extinguished. Colophon: Folio 25 on the recto side: Buddhist Era (BE) 2470, a moeng mao year, on the second day of the waxing moon of the ninth lunar month, the seventh day of the week (Saturday), the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). Thu Phò Chan Si from Vat Khili temple had the most ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Phet Nai Hin (A diamond in the stone) to support the Teaching of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May the results of this merit support me to escape from the cycle of birth and death and to cut out of the five Mara (devils). May I attain Nibbāna as my wishes definitely. Nibbāna paccayo hotu no niccaṃ dhuvaṃ (May this be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna, constantly and certainly).
