Himmaphan (Himavantata forest) the second episode of the Vessantara Jatakai. When Queen Phussati left the heaven and was born as the daughter of King Maddaraja. At the age of 16, whe was married as the wife of King Sanjaya, the ruler of Sivi (Shivi). Later sha gave birth to a son who was given name “Vessatara”. On the same day, a female elephant named Chaddanta gave birth to a pure white elephant named “Paccayanaga”. Later King Sanjaya gave the royal title to Prince Vessatara and married him with Princess Maddi as his consort in the administration of the kingdom. Vessatara has a tendency to bow to the amls giving. When the drought occurred in the Kalinga region, the people thus came to ask for Paccayanaga elephant. He gave the elephant to them. That cuased the people of Sivi to be dissatisfied. So, they asked King Sanjaya to banish him to the Himavanta forest.
