Sanghòm That, the content tells various events that will take place in Buddhism throughout the period of 5,000 years. Sariputta Thera and one of the angels asked the Buddha when the Buddha was present at the Jetavana monastery in Savatthi. The Buddha said that his Teachings will be established for 5,000 years. When his teachings have passed 2,000-3,000 years, there will not find the monks assembling for the Uposatha ceremony. When it passed, 5,000 years, there will not find monks wearing yellow robes, only the person who wears yellow cloth over his shoulder is assumed to be a monk. Colophon: Folio 20 on the verso side: Sangkat (CS) 1205, a kot sanga year, on the second day of the waxing moon of the fourth lunar month, the third day of the week (Tuesday), the writing of this manuscript was accomplished at the time of thae kai thiang (between 9.00–10.30 o’clock). Phrarasa Kanha had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Sanghòm That to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years.
