The content tells about the qualities of those who are of the seven kinds of the Dhamma as following: 1. Saddhā: faith, confidence if the Buddha, 2. Viriya: energy, effort 3. Hiri: moral shame, conscience 4. Ottappa: moral dread 5. Bāhusacca: great learning 6. Sati: mindfulness 7. Pañña: wisdom, understanding. Colophon: Folio 10 on the recto side: Chunlasangkat (CS) 1263, a huang pao year, on the eighth day of the waning moon of the tenth lunar month, a moeng khai day, the sixth day of the week (Friday), the writing of this manuscript was accomplished at the time of kòng laeng (between 13.30–15.00 o’clock). Mae Thao Pan, mother of Phia Hom Rasasombat (or Phia Homsombat), who lived behind the temple of Vat Xiang Thong had the most ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Thamma Rattanasut (Ratana Sutta), to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May all our wishes and desires with Nirvanaa as the ultimate goal come true, constantly and certainly. I am Tasaeng Thakhok (head of the sub-district of Thakhok) the scribe of this manuscript.
