The text tells about the strange behaviors of the major groups of the people in the world when the Teachings of the Buddha have passed for 3000 years. They will not believe in the teachings of their parents or teachers. They will become selfish, greedy, highly conceited and have wrong view. They will respect the parent spirits, guardian spirits and deities as the refuge. They will not believe in the Buddha’s teachings. Even if they have heard the preaching by monks, they will not believe in and not follow the teachings. Therefore, the Teachings of the Buddha have gradually declined along the time.
