The text is written in Pali and translated into Lao tells the 32 marks of the Great Man of the Buddha, which is in Mahapadana Sutta and Lakkhana Sutta. The marks of the Great Man are such as the Buddha had both feet snooth completely. The floor under his feet has a pattern like a chakra (wheel), he had long, well-rounded heels, and slender fingers like candls, each finger is the same length, soft hands and feet, his palms and feet soles have net-like patterns, etc. Colophon: Folio 14 on the recto side: Chunlasangkat (CS) 1218, a hwai si year, the first day of the waxing moon of the first lunar month, the sixth day of the week (Friday), a hap mao day, the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). Chao Phanya Xiang Neua and his wife together with all their children had the religious faith to to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Vohan Itipiso to support the Teachings of the Buddha. May this be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna.
